I was born and raised in Goa. I moved to the USA in 1988 and obtained a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at the University of Colorado at Boulder.
My journey in photography began with Goa’s landscapes, heritage, and people. For nearly two decades, the numinous landscape of Iceland has drawn me into an ongoing photographic exploration.
I am also a musician with a lifelong immersion in the musical traditions of India.
Silicon Valley in California was my home for 25 years. I now live in Iceland.
