I was born and raised in Goa. I moved to the USA in 1988 and obtained a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at the University of Colorado at Boulder.
I have photographed extensively in Goa, ranging over its landscape, heritage, and people. Over the past 17 years I have covered much of Iceland in an ongoing exploration of this magnificent island.
I am also a musician with a lifelong immersion in the musical traditions of India.
Silicon Valley in California was my home for 25 years. I now live in Iceland.
